Claire Germain, PhD, Associate Director R&D at Biomunex, is leading several key MAIT-engager programs, as well as other innovative bispecific antibody programs. She brings strong expertise in immuno-oncology, immune cell redirection, and antibody functional characterization. Before joining Biomunex, Claire worked at Transgene in Illkirch-Graffenstaden and at Invectys in Paris, where she contributed to the functional validation of anti-tumor vaccines, CAR-T cells, and recombinant bi-functional therapeutic molecules designed to modulate T-cell activation. She has a strong background in antibody functional characterization, immune cell redirection and tumor microenvironment, acquired during her PhD at Centre de Recherche en Cancérologie de Montpellier (CRCM, FR) and her Post-doctoral fellow at Institut de Pharmacologie Moléculaire et Cellulaire (IPMC, Sophia Antipolis, FR). She is first author of several articles in scientific journals and also co-inventor of recent patents.
