Maria Souleau, IP & Collaboration Advisor at Biomunex, has supported the company since its inception, contributing to intellectual property strategy and partnership development. Maria brings more than 25 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry, with extensive expertise in patents, licensing, business development, mergers and acquisitions, collaborations, due diligence, and the implementation of effective in-house patent strategies. Throughout her career, Maria held positions as Patent Attorney, Vice President Patents, and Business Development Director Patents within major pharmaceutical groups including Servier, Pasteur Sanofi and its affiliates Pasteur Sanofi Diagnostics. Since 2010, she has been actively involved with Angels Santé, Europe’s leading healthcare business angels network, where she was until 2023 Member of the Board of Directors of Angels Santé Création and President of its Investment Committee. Maria is also President of GNOSIS-MTS, a consulting company specialized in pharmaceutical, diagnostics and biotechnology intellectual property and business development strategy. Maria is a European Patent Attorney, French Patent Attorney, Docteur ès Sciences Pharmaceutiques (PhD), and Doctor in Pharmacy. She was also Associate Professor in Analytical Chemistry, at the University of Paris XI for 6 years. Maria is Member of International Intellectual Property Law Association (IPLA).
