Oliver Léger is an experienced antibody engineer who has supported Biomunex science and technology development since inception. Olivier Léger has over 35 years of accomplishments in research, research management, project management for discovery project teams, intellectual property, lead discovery and preclinical development in biotech and pharma companies. For 30 years, Olivier served as Antibody engineering director at Pierre Fabre, NovImmune, Merck Serono, Vetoquinol as well as Tridek One. Dr. Léger is a co-inventor of 3 marketed monoclonal antibodies, emapalumab, anti-IFNγ (Gamifant®), avelumab, anti-PDL1 (Bavencio®) and natalizumab, anti-alpha4 integrin (Tysabri®) and several other mAbs in clinical development. Olivier is co-inventor for over 40 patents, and a co-author of 18 scientific publications and book chapters. Olivier is co-founder and board member of Deeptope, a CRO specialized in antibody engineering by yeast display, and co-founder of the startups Kekkan Biologics, Lurus and TregShield bio. Olivier obtained a PhD in Molecular Immunology from the University of London (UK), at The Institute of Cancer research and originally trained as an antibody engineer at the MRC Collaborative Centre (London, UK)..
